(NEW!) Math Contest Camp 5-6: Arithmetic and Logic

Students prepare for math contests like Math Kangaroo 5-6 and MOEMS Division E. This challenging summer camp builds on foundational knowledge from AoPS Math 4 & 5, so interested students should be operating at an advanced 5-6th grade math level. Students tackle challenging contest-level problems focused on number theory and geometry, and build contest-taking skills and strategies through daily practice contests.

  • Duration: 2 weeks
  • Class time: 3hrs per day, Monday - Friday
  • Homework: None
  • Skills: Fraction & Decimals, Number Bases, Modular Arithmetic, Deductive Reasoning, 2D & 2D Spatial Reasoning

Class Experience

Students practice using important concepts & tools from number theory and logic to solve challenging problems related to these topics. During each lesson, students participate in mock individual and team competitions to build the mathematical skills and test-taking experience that will prepare them for key events in the upcoming school year.
